About:
I'm a Bay Area Photographer who has started a Photo Book project for print publication. This photo book will document and publish portraits of 30-50 selected homeless people throughout the Bay Area. Below each image there will be a short paragraph of their biography explaining how they ended up on the streets, where they came from and their future goals, etc.
My goal is to increase awareness about the San Francisco, Bay Area homeless community and to show everyone that they are still people just like the rest of us and how we can all help each other. I'm hoping from this book there can be many lessons to be learned, life experiences to be shared and hopefully new opportunities can be generated for the people highlighted in this book.
How to become involved:
VOLUNTEERS: Any help will be greatly appreciated on my project in terms of volunteered staff, promotional materials, legal help, financial, ideas, etc.

We are looking for people who can help us distribute flyers to the homeless people through out the Bay Area region and find people for inclusion in this book. There will only be 50 people featured in this book. I do plan to have interviews and photos of at least 150 subjects. I would also appreciate any ideas or suggestions.
